Active Members - currently in education field or retired

Reserve members - due to physical impediment or other reasons

Collegiate members - Jr. or Sr. student in education path

Honorary members - not eligible for active membership but outstanding in impacting education
Active Members

Woman who is or has been employed as a professional educator at the time of election

Help with projects, do programs, encourage other members and help bring in new members
Reserve Members
-
This is granted to a member who is unable to participate fully in activites or the chapter because of physical disability or geographic location

Can request to restore active membership
Honorary Member
-
Not eligible for active membership but has rendered notable service to education or to women
Collegiate Membership
-
Both undergraduates and Graduate students are eligible for membership

Undergraduate
-
Enrolled in an institution offering an education degree​

The last two year of their undergraduate degree program

Graduate

Enrolled in graduate education program at an institution offering an education degree​

May participate in activates of the society except holding office

May serve as parliamentarian since that position is not an elected office

Years of membership will count toward eligibility for TSO scholarships
